The 2021 Rank Reformation, partially known as the Great Conqueror Purge, was a major rank deletion that took place from June 1, 2021, to June 4, 2021. It completely reformed World Conquest's rank system, and is the first time roleplay ranks were removed. It was directed by Vice Chairman AgentJobo and Administrator Bereghosttheboy.
History[]
June 1st Incident[]
On June 1, 2021, 22 people were demoted from Elite Conqueror to Imperialist Conqueror, beginning the first stages of the reformation.[1] This event was coined by some as the "June 1st Incident." Several other people may have demoted, however no other demotions were logged. According to AgentJobo, the demotions were in preparation for a potential reform of the rank.
Merging of Ranks[]
AgentJobo officially announced the Merging of Ranks on June 4, 2021. 4 roleplay obtainable ranks were removed. Trained Conqueror and Imperialist Conqueror were permanently removed, however the rest were eventually re-added. Hundreds of people were demoted as a result of these removals.
The ranks were merged so rank maintenance would become more feasible for the World Conquest Staff Team. The new ranks formed a basic lower, middle, and upper tier. Rank Standards also aligned to fit the new hierarchy.[2]
