The 2022 April Fools update, or Update 0.7.0, was not a troll update, but instead added four eras, 1821, 1836, 1920, and 2022, and added a higher-quality Terrain Overlay. However, the update was rolled back a few days later. There were also troll messages and other minor things added by developers. Once a player entered the game, a troll message added by Developer BetterNotDie appeared stating "Were you expecting an update?".

Map Reworks[]
Like said, 2022 was the replacement of 2019 due to the outdated version and Russian-Ukrainian war and outdated version. 2019 to 2022 was merely a rework hence making it 2022 as both eras had the same ideas. With that 1992 was also remade and was officialized by BetterNotDie. In these cases 1992 was remade due to the lack of rebellion groups and also because of inaccuracy. The remade had made it better and increased it's quality.
