Mass Unbans of previously banned users took place in World Conquest and the World Conquest Discord on December 15, 2024, being organized by Rasvyet and the rest of Administration.
History[]
Banned Users[]
There were over 100,000 users registered as banned in the game ban database, even over years of different moderation teams. There were additionally slow appealing processes that prevented users who had been banned for years from being unbanned.
Game Unban Wave[]
These issues lead to the announcement of a Mass Unban wave on December 15, 2024.[1] The game ban database was subsequently cleared by AdmiralFanatic.[2] The event was also accompanied with the replacement of the World Conquest Bot, with a new bot being owned by AdmiralFanatic being implemented.[3]
Discord Unban Wave[]
13 minutes after the announcement, WhoIsLpd would be unbanned by Rasvyet, the first Discord unban of the wave.[4] This process is still ongoing.
Reban Wave[]
After the clearing of the database, it was obvious that many raiders and controversial users had become unbanned. Due to this, a wave of rebanning these users began and is still ongoing.[5][6][7]

Protests[]
Users started campaigning in the #general chat in the World Conquest Discord for certain users to be unbanned. People that were desired to be unbanned included Sgtxlord, Heafsickle, Bereghosttheboy, Kalashnikoviku, Texenna, and other users..[8]
