5yawn, sometimes referred to as just yawn, is an Indian Head Administrator for World Conquest. He has a rich history in the game, and he is well-known throughout the community, having done various of reforms and changes on the community, development, and on the staff server to better the current system. One of his popular controversies include his resignation a few weeks into being an Administrator Cadet. He has made many friends throughout his time in the community and is active in the World Conquest Discord.

Early History

Beginnings

5yawn began trying World Conquest as a guest around mid-2022. He didn't know much about role-playing, and his only experience was on group servers. Due to his lack of historical knowledge, his favorite era at the time was Dawn of Civilization. Due to the white-world era it was, this was the perfect place for him to learn the basics of role-play, and also have fun creating new empires. Dawn of Civilization would be revived by 5yawn over 2 years later, with people able to experience the same fun that 5yawn had, which was mentioned in an update.

Ban

On February 25, 2023, 5yawn, known as sutartXXXXXX at the time, was banned for random paint on China. He was banned by Zolwicxek. In 5yawn's ban appeal, he states that he was painting spots where China was bombed. Moderator Tw1stedBuns denied his ban appeal, stating that he still had to wait a month. His report log is the earliest record of his existence on World Conquest.

Eventually, 5yawn caved in and waited a month. On March 27, 2023, 5yawn appealed his ban, expressing proper remorse for his actions. His ban appeal was accepted by AHistoryFanatic. A few weeks later, on April 9th, 2023, he would change his username to 5yawn, a visible upgrade from sutartXXXXXX.

Initiate

On May 14, 2023, 5yawn, following the continuous improvement of his roleplay, would be promoted to Initiate Conqueror. Currently, it is unknown who promoted him, as the promoters account has been deleted. He continued to improve his roleplay until finally reaching the next level.

Events

5yawn gained prominence and started creating private servers, quickly developing new events and hosting daily fantasy events. He even created his first unofficial events server, which was not officially affiliated with World Conquest.

Controversy

His actions with creating an unofficial events server led to controversy with Marqret, who wanted the server free of World Conquest-related activities. 5yawn actively disobeyed him several times, and kept his matters secret, but drama and controversy eventually led to Marqret threatening to ban 5yawn and his server members. With this final threat, 5yawn would cease operations on his server. As a result, the server would eventually die out. Unbeknownst to many, a successor would soon arrive with the return of World Conquest Subcommunities in 2024.

After applying, 5yawn was accepted into the event applications in late July, marking his official World Conquest events. This caught the attention of others and kickstarted his original events with minimal controversy, marking a new chapter for 5yawn. He still retains event host to this day.

Adept

On July 29, 2023, 5yawn was promoted to Adept Conqueror, meeting low standards for the rank (which was presumably allowed at that time.) He was promoted by rational1ty. He wouldn't remain Adept for long, as he would obtain Trial Moderator less than a month later.

Staff Tenure

Trial Moderator

5yawn would apply for Trial Moderator sometime around August, and 5yawn's application was accepted on August 21, 2023. After passing processing 5yawn officially began his moderation career on August 27, 2023. He would patrol World Conquest servers frequently and making close colleagues with CosmicPuIsar and Brodie44see (ExoticAndo22). This would also begin a friendly competition between Cosmic and 5yawn, beginning to patrol as much as they can, though, led to 5yawn being punished for his low quality patrols and behavior on public servers. Following call-outs for this, 5yawn would change his behavior in-game. He would contribute greatly to moderation following his change of behavior.

Moderator

In December of 2023, 5yawn gained the status of Moderator after a promotion by Administration. This was the point where the staff team was dramatically changing, with new changes happening quite frequently and the staff team growing in size. During this time, he participated in the Conquest Coronations and won three separate categories, marking himself as an exceptional member of World Conquest and bolstering his influence and popularity on the server. Stated by 5yawn, he believes he won "Best Player of 2023," "Most active Staff of the Year," and "Most Friendliest Player."

Administrator Cadet

On May 5th, 2024, TravelZap announced that 5yawn and NicolasWellesley would get promoted to Administrator Cadet. Following the announcement. massive spam would take place, community members would spam NicolasWellesley and 5yawn due to hype by Rasvyet in the channel. 5yawn recieved 956 pings, and NicolasWellesley recieved 1,036 pings. In the midst of the spam, 5yawn even stated that his phone broke. The duo would be promoted the following day, on May 6, 2024, by ExoticAndo22.

Following the addition of Subcommunities on May 25, 2024, 5yawn, along with NicolasWellesley, decided to form their subcommunity together, called "World Conquest: Grand Campaigns." Mainly focused on custom maps, their community has gathered a lot of attention, remaining around 280 members as of October 2024.

Administrator

On October 11, 2024, 5yawn was promoted to Administrator by Rasvyet. The promotion was announced with an @everyone ping, and 5yawn was pinged around 1,150 times during the spamming. 5yawn was promoted to Administrator alongside 1t_qv. During this time, he has made plenty of reforms and changes, such as Community Category Changes, Content Creation Revival, etc.

Head Administrator

On May 9, 2025, 5yawn was promoted to Head Administrator by Marqret. He was promoted after promoting alxmino2016, prestestt, Daniel_Lorusk, and Myinng.

Present Times

Currently, 5yawn remains a Head Administrator, being in charge of the current Administrators. 5yawn now manages all Development Assistants as an Era Developer in World Conquest Development, in charge of handling the DA team and announcing updates in upcoming era development, also aiding community-related roles such as Event Hosts and Community Pollers. with the addition of the Arts/Art Contests channel. 5yawn also oversees the creation of This Month in World Conquest alongside the Wiki Team.
