Abigailfromsky, also known under her old username as Abigail_Dood, is a former Honoured Conqueror, former Trial Moderator and Moderator, and Development Assistant in World Conquest. She held the longest tenure as a Trial Moderator in history, totalling 240 days.

In 2019, at the age of 13, Abigail_Dood was introduced to World Conquest by a friend. She was an average user and she remained as a Conqueror for a few months.

According to Abigail, in March 2020, a promotion to Initiate Conqueror was promised to her by a Trial Moderator. Afterward, Abigail checked the World Conquest Discord, and discovered the aforementioned moderator was banned ~1 hour after they promised the promotion. Abigail was demoralized by this, and went on a hiatus until August 2020.
However, on March 21, 2020, she was promoted to Initiate Conqueror, which contradicts the series of events Abigail claims to have happened.[1] Sometime after this, she left the World Conquest Group. On August 28, 2020, Abigail was promoted from Conqueror to Initiate.[2]
On September 5, 2020, Abigail was promoted to Trained Conqueror.[3] She began to become more active within the community, and on September 21, 2020, she was promoted to Imperialist Conqueror.[4] Abigail was enthusiastic and began to consider applying to become a Trial Moderator. Pushed by her motivation, she applied and was accepted on September 26, 2020.[5]
The following day, she passed the tryout with ease. She patrolled 17 hours on her first week, and was regarded to be a decent Moderator overall. She considered herself quite incompetent in her first week, however she improved her behavior.
In the months that followed, not much of note occurred, but Abigail gained significant popularity within the community. Despite being a woman, many members of the community did not believe this due to most of the player-base being males. This skepticism persisted until Abigail spoke in voice for the first time in the staff Discord.
December 2020 - May 2021[]
During her first tenure, Abigail was never promoted to Moderator. She considered herself an active staff member, despite going on an Inactivity Notice for some parts of January due to her holidays. She expected a promotion to Moderator by that point. Although her patrol hours decreased as she started to lose motivation, Abigail still patrolled usually 5 hours a week and was fairly active.
In March, an incident occurred where Abigail accidentally deleted Iran with Building Tools (Btools). The server had to be shut down by Administrator Bereghosttheboy. In late March, Administrator KaiserVonInsert promised to recommend her for a promotion in April, however this promise was broken.
By April, Abigail was becoming discouraged. She still patrolled over 3 hours a week, but it wasn’t enough to earn a promotion. She felt jealous seeing Trial Moderators who were accepted long after her receive promotions before she did. Despite the issues, Abigail continued attending trainings and remained somewhat active.
On May 25, 2021 Abigail resigned after losing all motivation and becoming completely inactive. She was the longest lasting Trial Moderator in World Conquest history, lasting for exactly 240 days. After her resignation, Abigail left the discord server and stopped playing the game. However, this departure was only temporary as she returned a few weeks later and applied to become a Trial Moderator again.
November 2021 - December 2023[]
In mid October, Abigail's application was accepted and she rejoined the staff team shortly after on November 3, 2021. She became a Moderator for the first time on March 24, 2022, and continued actively patrolling the game until she was sacked on July 17, 2022. She was sacked along with Prosephman and Altervista. Soon after, she was promoted to Honoured Conqueror, and became an Event Host and Community Associate. She was temporarily promoted back to the role of Trial Moderator on 25 September 2022 while hosting the World Conquest Champions League.
On the 18th of October 2022, Abigail got promoted to Development Assistant after the banning & sacking of sgtxlord and KereiJanibek. She would hold this position up until July 16th of 2024. This makes her the 2nd longest lasting DA in WC history, only after Noorullah. During Abi’s tenure, she was leading era development and oversaw the creation of numerous eras like 1204, 1799, 1700, 1389, 50BC and etc. After Noorullah and AHistoryFanantic/AdmiralFanatic got promoted to Developer in September of 2023, she was the de-facto sole Development Assistant for many months.
2024 - Present “ The Downfall “[]
On January 8, 2024, Abigail was demoted from her role as Honoured Conqueror due to allegations of "Admin Abuse," sparking widespread controversy. The specifics surrounding her demotion and the nature of the alleged "Admin Abuse" remain unclear. Abigail exclusively used appearance-altering commands however the debate over if this affected other players’ gameplay is still unsolved. Despite this, the demotion proceeded under the oversight of Head Administrator GreenFawkes, who later admitted the decision was questionable.
Following her demotion, Abigail continued as an Adept Conqueror but missed out on the 2024 Elite Wave due to inactivity. Abigail eventually fell out of favor with the administration and her colleagues, leading to her removal from Development on July 16, 2024. She was dismissed for being "not needed" and "not contributing much," despite having informed her peers about her absence due to school commitments and holidays.
After her fall from grace and subsequent departure from Development, Abigail stepped away from World Conquest and entered semi-retirement from the community. Over time, she also lost her roles as Community Associate of Events and JCA of Stupid Screenshot Saturdays. Nowadays, Abigail still occasionally contributes to World Conquest development and takes part in community events.
