The Admin VIP Debate was a series of arguments, conflicts, and debates within the World Conquest Discord from May 25 to May 28, 2024. It was between the self-proclaimed "Anti-Admin VIP" (AAVIP) and the Admin VIP (AVIP). The debates were a result of Chairman Marqret's decision to reintroduce the Admin VIP role. The "protests" against the re-addition of the role had little to no effect, and the controversy was irrelevant by the end of May.
The nature of the conflict was widely criticized, especially by administration, for its absurdity. Many participants formed fictional roleplay countries such as "Initium" and "High Rankia." Eventually, all roleplay was disregarded as Marqret shut down the AAVIP Discord server and declared himself the winner.
History[]
On May 25, 2024, Marqret announced:
"I have decided to reintroduce Admin VIP as the next tier of our exclusive role lineup. This tier is much like the existing Supporter role; however, it differs in that you also receive commands in World Conquest…"
The initial announcement was met with criticism, but it paled in comparison to what followed. Early accountabilities for minor admin abuse, such as misuse of announcements, did not lead to significant punishments or controversies.
The War[]
Ja_10134 Raid[]
On May 27, 2024, Admin VIP Ja_10134 raided a World Conquest server using the ":kick all" command to remove everyone from the server and ensure anonymity. This plan was later uncovered by Developer BetterNotDie, who accessed old server logs (which Ja_10134 was unaware of). Ja_10134 was subsequently banned, a disappointing outcome as he had spent real-life money for minimal effect.
Before the Ja_10134 raid, many people were upset about AVIP after a misunderstanding caused by the Great Sinking, a server-wide error that caused studs to be deleted. This was blamed on Admin VIP Dexxyun, leading more people to join the AAVIP group.
Formation of the AAVIP[]

Proof of Ja_10134 Raid
Following the Ja_10134 raid, many people demanded an end to the Admin VIP rank, leading to the formation of the decentralized 'AAVIP' movement. Despite AVIP members denouncing the raid, they faced backlash as they sought to retain their permissions.
The AAVIP established a map they claimed represented the ongoing war. This included:
- Marqret Caliphate: Referencing Marqret's family tree with the marriage bot and his power over World Conquest and AVIPs.
- AVIP State: Representing all AVIPs.
- Adeptia, Initium, Elitium, and High Rankia: Formed after a dispute between Adeptia and Elitium, leading to a union. Representative of all AAVIP groups.
During this time, a user claiming to be the Pope formed the Holy Land, legitimized by Adept Conqueror YALMSL in return for mercenaries to support their war effort. However, YALMSL later executed the Pope and renamed the Holy Land to Adeptia (separate from the country).
The map, created by Adept Conqueror Tikititoy as the Cartographer, initially documented visualizations of invasions such as the Ja_10134 Offensive, Marqret Caliphate Offensive, and YALMSL's defense. However, Supreme Leader Xander rejected the map, claiming it was biased propaganda rather than legitimate documentation.
First Council of AVIP[]
The First Council of AVIP was called by AHFanatic, representing Marqret, in response to the Ja_10134 raid. It addressed:
- Reducing AVIP permissions, including removing access to "kick all" and "serverban" commands.
- Granting permissions to AVIP members who hadn't received them yet.
Xanderk declared himself Supreme Leader of the AVIP, and many requests were made to AHFanatic and Marqret for changes AVIP members wanted to see.
Ceasefire[]
The AVIP State and AAVIP Coalition signed a ceasefire, realizing the conflict had become disorganized and unproductive. During the ceasefire, both sides established servers to challenge each other. Some AAVIP users reworded military songs as propaganda, targeting Xander.
Marqret Intervention[]
Upon returning, Marqret demanded the removal of 'AAVIP' from usernames and an end to the conflict. He refused to remove AVIP based on one raider and minor dissent. A poll by 5yawn showed the majority were neutral about the conflict.

Marqret in the AAVIP Server
Marqret declared himself the winner, supported by AVIP members. Despite this, some AAVIP loyalists continued discussing guerilla warfare and undermining Marqret. However, Marqret joined the AAVIP server, shutting it down and ending the conflict.
