Introduction[]
The Developer Rank is a Specialized rank in the World Conquest Administration granted to trusted coders, developers of eras, and as the title suggests, develops majority of World Conquest's map and features. It is not obtainable by roleplay or simply advancing through the staff hierarchy. Since 2017, there have been numerous Developers, up to 10 of them throughout its history.
History[]
First Introduced on the start of World Conquest, it has saw various leads throughout the years and users throughout the rank. Most notably, Ahfanatic, Noorullah, Betternotdie, and Capitan_Obvious. The purpose of the rank was primarily to advance technologically and develop the game altogether. This rank has been essentialy, and held by various individuals who greatly benefited world conquest as a Whole.
If one were to leave this rank no matter the time within it, they would be granted the Honored Conqueror rank, which is inaccessible with roleplay.
Developers handle the backbone of World Conquest. primarily, development of eras and coding. Despite coders having a separate rank, they are capable of gaining development, or Coding in development. Nevertheless, developer is not a rank which you can obtain by asking for it while already in administration or coding. The newly added features throughout World Conquest are mostly produced by Developers, migration of features to other models of the game can be assisted by coders from time to time.
Additionally, the decision making for in-game issues, bugs, and other assets of the game are decided by the developer's for the most part, alongside the higher administrative as well.
In the administrative hierarchy, developers withhold a higher authority then that of the Administrators themselves, wedged between the Administrator and Head Administrator ranks, they handle, again, the in-game issues and generally everything revolving around the game, whilst administrators handle the staff team, punishments, Etc.
Developers like Noorullah and AHistoryFanatic have both benefited the developer rank greatly with their recent developments throughout the month of October and November after the resignation of biztal. More notably, figures like Capitan_Obvious have left an undeniable mark on history within the rank and in world conquest as a community. The developer rank, is an integral piece to a larger society of people, helping to progress the game altogether.
