Definition[]
Freepaint is the act of painting without roleplaying without the intention of grief or painting beyond what is roleplayed. It is often confused with randompaint, the act of griefing the map. As of 5 January 2025, the rule is cited under 1.4 in the main server. The action is warnable, while Randompaint is bannable with a duration of upwards of 30 days.
Difference[]
Random paint is of large scale, and the main point of the action is to grief the map and ruin others' experiences. Free paint on the other hand, may be accidental and is often done by new players.

As observed, Freepaint compared to Randompaint is smaller, less destructive and does not disrupt the flow of roleplay. Whereas, Randompaint is at a higher scale, ruining the experience for others. Moderators, thanks to admin commands, may use the :undopaint command to clear the mess up, and restore the experience.
