Introduction[]
Legendary Conqueror is the final non-staff obtainable rank you can receive in World Conquest. Players with this rank are expected to be the best of the best, with the ability to defeat anyone below them (besides another Legendary Conqueror). There are only 6 players allowed with this role, and all slots are currently held.
History[]
In early June 2021, vast rank reforms occurred resulting in Legendary Conqueror being combined with Elite and Honoured Conqueror. It would not see a return until Late December of 2023.
On December 27, 2023, the rank was readded as a 1v1-based rank system similar to older versions of ranks. Elite Conquerors are specifically allowed to duel legendary Conquerors for the title. Rules and regulations can be found in #announcements in the World Conquest discord server. The ranks would be given to the medalists of the "Best Roleplayer" award from the 2023 coronations, ExecutiveHayden, Gleamq, and PanzerPrussia
The first duel happened on December 29, 2023, at 2 pm GMT+8 time, with the short-lived victory of IAmTheFireIceLord before the rank was given back to Gleamq after post-duel protests. The second duel happened between PanzerPrussia and WhoIsLpd, with the latter winning albeit seeing protests against his win. In retaliation, shadysbacktellafrien would challenge WhoIsLpd as the third duel on January 5, 2024, with the usage of the account LeroyJenkins2005 (rank transfer) and successfully retake the rank with WhoIsLpd forfeiting.
LeroyJenkins2005 would leave the discord server and would lose his legendary rank which would disappear as nobody was promoted to fill the Vacancy, leaving only 2 Legendary slots remaining. Staff decided to reduce the rank to a single slot in Feburary and force a duel between Gleamq and Executivehayden which the former would forfeit, leaving only 1 Legendary left. Moderator Craxielz would promote FredMoha and IAmTheFireIceLord to legendary which would be revoked later on as these promotions would be retrospectively viewed as invalid. With ExecutiveHayden leaving the server in this period the rank would become vacant again.
in June the Legendary rank would be revived again following the academy revival and increased numbers of elite conquerors. The rank would have 2 slots with the initial recipients being UnitedStatesGermany and Ohmygodzronnie. New slots for legendary would come once the elite rank was deemed large enough, with a 3rd being established on July 27th 2024 following an elite evaluation tournament and a 4th and 5th slot being established on 11th September following the mass elite promotions previously that day.

Tournaments[]
Legendary Tournaments initially were introduced in June of 2022. The exact participants of said tournament is not known as sources are relatively vague, with minimal recognition and mention of these tournaments. Nevertheless, the earliest documentation of these tournaments occurred in the dawn of 2024 in January, where much of the elites at that time were made to attend a bracket-form of tournament for the legendary Rank. The winner of this tournament would be WhoIsLPD, who was later demoted. There is not much regarding who attended this tournament, and if there were any other victors.
The next series of tournaments would not occur until around September 21st, 2024, When the tournament involving around 13 Contestants would commence. InAerial, alongside FT2000s would be the victors of the tournament, whilst Zombro achieved third place.

The next Legendary Tournaments would not occur until the following week on the 28th, in a much smaller quantity of attendees. This resulted in the final position of legendary being granted to Teryboyo2 after victory against Aruarianity subsequently. Much controversy, though minor, occurred between the current Legendaries at that time, InAerial and Uzi regarding the outcome of the tournament, though it would gradually phase out of relevancy the following week.

Nearly two months later on the 31st, November, the fourth tournament commenced, many discontent with the fact that much of the players had asked to attend beforehand as the system of registry into the tournament was introduced under Daniel_Lorusk and Zolwicxek. By then, majority of the Legendaries were demoted or left world conquest, including Aruarianity, Praetorianovuh, and Uzi. This left 4 open spots of the rank. m3wh_en, ft2000s, and e438atfl5kta3eoompar were promoted subsequently in the aftermath of the tournament, leaving one empty spot within the rank. With e438atfl5kta3eoompar getting second, m3wh_en at third, and ft2000s winning at 1st a second time.
