A Moderator, most of the time abbreviated to a Mod, holds the second rank you can obtain in the World Conquest Staff Team.[1] They are part of the Staff Members of World Conquest, and attain more responsibilities and powers than Trial Moderators. In order to obtain this rank, you must be a Trial Moderator beforehand, and you must have passed the Trial Moderator phase. If you did not pass the Trial Moderator phase, you will instead be sacked.[2]
Responsibilities[]

As a Moderator, you will gain several more responsibilities to tackle during your tenure. You would already have all of the responsibilities and permissions a Trial Moderator has. Your pay in Robux is also increased[3] by a considerable amount. Moderators will monitor individuals who desire to become an Elite Conqueror, and after a few weeks, decide if they are eligible for the rank.[4][5]Moderators can also promote Elite Conquerors in Adept Tournaments.[4] Elite promotions have to be accurate, and too many false elite promotions and other blunders can lead to a Sack.[6] Additionally, if you generally lack maturity, and continuously lie, you risk a possibility of a Sack or a restarting of the Trial Moderator Phase. This has happened on numerous occasions.[7][8]
Moderators also gain the responsibility of monitoring Ban Appeals,[9] spending prolonged periods of time processing ban appeals consistently. Since the addition of In-Game ban appeals,[10] there has been a visible increase in more people being unbanned by Moderators. Moderators gain the ability to officialize Legendary Conqueror duels.[11] In these duels, an Elite Conqueror challenges a Legendary Conqueror for their rank. A Moderator must be present in this duel in order to have the duel be official. If no Moderator is present, the duel is considered as illegitimate, and no rank transfer takes place.[11]

In the Discord Server, a Trial Moderator can mute an individual permanently for a Pending Ban. Moderators have the ability to review the situation and take the next course of action.[12] However, Moderators also have their own set of restrictions as well. In the #accountability channel, users can report staff members. Moderators do not have the ability to review these.[13] Additionally, Moderators also do not have the ability to review applications for Trial Moderation.[14] These permissions are instead granted to Administrator Cadets.
