NicolasWellesley is a Discord Administrator, Discord Moderator, former Administrator Cadet, Elite Conqueror and veteran player of World Conquest, having joined World Conquest in 2017 but not joining the discord until 2021. During this time he was a moderator for the popular ROBLOX game "Zulu Wars" which earned him large amounts of Robux. Before becoming a staff member in WC, Nicolas was an Adept Conqueror, though skilled in his own right. He would later set his ambition to become a staff member.
First Staff Run[]
On July 2, 2022, Nicolas was accepted as a Trial Moderator in the World Conquest staff team. He proceeded to exceed patrol and report quota consistently, proving himself to be a top performer when motivation and time was right. Due to this, he quickly rose through the ranks. Becoming Moderator, and hosting multiple events and trainings. Then in due time, promoted to Administrator Cadet. It was during this period, October 15th 2022, where Nicolas helped combat a group of players who called themselves Anti-LARP Action. This group was responsible for “targeting” players who “LARPed” as a specific nation or region in-game.
Nicolas would see his most major accountability placed against him when he posted a gif that led users to Alvin and the Chipmunks receiving head into general chat on the Discord. Although punished for this action he was not sacked but he would be sacked later on for a completely unrelated reason. This was due to disclosing confidential staff matters with Sgtxlord.
Post-Administrator Cadet[]
Despite being sacked from the staff team for disclosing confidential information, he was not banned, and was able to continue playing WC as any other player would. He would constantly work to get another shot at being a staff member, running as an Event Host and working in development to get closer towards his ultimate goal.
Second Staff Run[]
He would rejoin the the staff team on July 18, 2023, and would rise to the rank of Moderator before being sacked for leaking staff messages according to the administration. During this period, he would be known for custom continent events along with DaveTheVillain (before he was banned) and Fistmancddd.
Third Staff Run[]
On December 19, 2023, he would be accepted into the staff team for a third time and quickly began ascending the ranks once more, likely assisted by his accumulated experience from previous staff runs as a Moderator and Administrator Cadet. He became a Moderator after passing his Trial Moderator phase and on the 6th May, 2024 he would receive Administrator Cadet over a year after losing it the first time.
Nicolas’ current run as a member of the staff can be considered as going incredibly well for several reasons. Despite now being apart of the staff team continuously for 6 months, not a single accountability has been accepted against him. In fact he has only had a single accountability filed against him during those 6 months, and it was denied. He has also become a Developer Assistant and was voted as the best Event Host at the Conquest Coronations. Always a man who was a fan of games such as the Warhammer franchise and fantasy genre, those would be his areas of expertise and he spared no expense when working on events he was passionate about. He has maintained his friendship with Phoenix and GreenFawkes, with the latter playing games like L4D2 alongside Noorullah.
On Thursday, October 3, 2024, Nicolas would end up resigning from the position of Administrator Cadet taking the position of a moderating role within the Discord server rather than World Conquest as a whole. As of October 17, 2024, he currently presides as a Discord Administrator, Discord Moderator, and still a member of the staff team.
