NotVeloprix, sometimes shortened to Velo, or referred to by his discord nickname, Flappybird, is an Ethiopian World Conquest Player. He was born in the United Kingdom, and is a relatively friendly individual, which has garnered him numerous friends and supporters. He additionally engages in the community often, partaking in long discussions, and has a rich history on World Conquest, since his arrival in 2022.

Early Gameplay

In mid-2022, NotVeloprix, then known as thekidgameryt456, discovered World Conquest. He was an avid Rise of Nations player, and thinking that the game was getting stale, he decided to go on a hunt for a new, fresh experience. After effortlessly typing "country games" in the search bar, he quickly found World Conquest. He remained a relatively unknown Conqueror, and peacefully continued enjoying the game. In the Summer of 2022, however, he started to become more active, and, a significant stain on his record would soon arrive.

Game Ban

In a surprising turn of events, Veloprix was banned from World Conquest, by NicolasWellesley, after he Random Painted over French West Africa, and Germany, on July 28, 2022. He was roleplaying as Greece, attempted to reform the Byzantine Empire, and started invading neighboring countries for no logical reason. After, he decided it would be a good idea to "spread his paint," and subsequently left. Some hours later, on the same day, after Veloprix had realized he was banned, he joined the World Conquest Discord Server, and after a short argument, immediately tried to appeal his ban.

Discord Ban

After around 3 miserable attempts at trying to get unbanned, another unfortunate event would occur. Absurdingly, on August 4, 2022, Veloprix decided it would be a great idea to lure users to search up things that fall under 1.7, and ended up receiving a 1 week ban, by GreenFawkes. After being banned on both the Game and the Discord, Veloprix was in a state of panic, until, with the help of 1t_qv, he finally found a Moderator named Babus.

Unbanning

Following his ban, Veloprix waited a period of about a week, and appealed to Babus. After appealing to Babus, he was unbanned from the discord on August 16, 2022. Following this, Veloprix, seeing that over a month had passed since his in-game ban, decided to appeal his ban. His appeal was accepted by Foxziez, on September 6, 2022.

Rebanning

After being unbanned for 9 days, Veloprix was banned by the same moderator who unbanned him, Foxziez, for unintentionally random painting on a White World server, On September 15, 2022. After waiting out the month anxiously, as seen in the numerous :baninfo commands done by him during the timeperiod of his ban, he was unbanned by Xuellito, known as 9INE6IXDEROMANIA at that time. In the span of 1 Hour and 30 Minutes, Veloprix had submitted 3 ban appeals, showing his intense desire to get unbanned.

Intiate and Adept

Following these bans, Veloprix continued to be a relatively cautious individual throughout his pre-staff times, being promoted to Initiate Conqueror by Zolwicxek on February 11, 2023, and then being promoted to Adept by Xuellito, on March 16, 2023. He continued interacting with the community, accumulating no further bans. He even obtained the rank of Quality Assurance, on February 27, 2023. Despite his tarnished record, Veloprix decided to take a leap of faith.

Staff Tenure

Whilst Veloprix was on vacation in Ethiopia, he had figured out the Staff Applications were open through his relatives computer. He applied, and ended up getting accepted, on August 10, 2023. Although he failed INDOC, the process of obtaining Trial Moderator. He reapplied on August 21, 2023, and ended up passing INDOC that time. Veloprix was in the same batch as Ando, who is now an Administrator, and 5yawn, who is now an Administrator Cadet.

Promotion

Veloprix would then go on to obtain the Moderator rank, on December 11, 2023, after succesfully passing his Trial Phase. However, this period of victory would go on to last around 2 months, after he was forced to restart his Trial Phase, after multiple errors in judgement, on February 4, 2024. After 2 months of being stripped of his Moderator powers, he finally repassed his trial phase, but there would be one last thing waiting for him down the line.

Double Sack

On June 6, 2024, Veloprix was charged with horrible judgments in Elite Promotions, demonstrating flaws in "several moderation skills" and citing his "lack of maturity." Veloprix was demoted by 5yawn, who continued to cite his "failure to learn from his past mistakes." Following this, Veloprix managed to unsack himself, by getting Administration to give him another chance. This in itself wouldn't last long.

On June 21, 2024, Veloprix was sacked once again, citing the same reasons as last time, such as maturity and judgement. However, Veloprix jumped the gun, by promoting an individual to Honoured Conqueror, without Administrative Approval. He was sacked by Biztal.

Staff Alumni

His subsequent demotion from Staff would lead to him assuming a temporary period of idleness within World Conquest, then pursuing Elite Conqueror with the persuasion of several people in General Chat, leading to him getting Elite Conqueror on August 22, 2024. Later on; his reputation would be shrouded with controversy concerning his multiple violation of Discord Rules linked to his aforementioned lack of maturity, such as posting N-word bypasses and participating in the distribution of false rumors, leading to his 3rd ban. Said ban would then be reversed with the advent of an appeal, with Administrator Cadet 1t_qv accepting said appeal on October 4, 2024.
