Background[]
Ranks are World Conquest's system of organizing users based on their roleplay proficiency. It is a way to determine what should be expected of a Roleplayer, and is a way to determine or expect a player's skill prior to roleplaying with them. These can also be as a result of important members in the community (Honored Conqueror) or a member of the staff team.
Player Ranks[]
World Conquest is organized into 5 primary ranks which are obtainable by anyone, Conqueror, Initiate Conqueror, Adept Conqueror, and Elite Conqueror. There are also several staff roles that are restricted to users who meet specific requirements.
Guest[]
Guests, similar to conquerors, are the lowest rank within World Conquest except compared to conquerors they have not joined group yet. Guests are commonly associated with freepaint and random paint due to the belief that any guest is a raider. This rank is usually put together with Conqueror as both have no standards and are usually first time players.
Conqueror[]
Conquerors are the lowest of the low, consisting of users who have just joined the group. Conquerors are expected to be rather poor roleplayers and have little knowledge on the use of tactics, numbers, and so forth. Conqueror is the only role besides Honoured that holds no official regarded rank roleplaying standards due to its place within the very lowest part of the group hierarchy. Conquerors are the rank which break the rules the most as a result of them being the first rank acquired when joining the group. There are currently 72,000+ Conqueror's as of December 10th, 2024.
There are many exceptions to this stereotype though, with many users being Conquerors despite having significant proficiency in Roleplay. However, this does not represent the majority of users. This has also led to the belief alongside Guests that any good Conqueror roleplayer is an alternate account.
Initiate Conqueror[]
Initiate Conquerors are users who have been recognized for at least slight proficiency within roleplay and understands the basic fundamentals of roleplay. As of March 22nd 2025 there are 5,691 Initiate Conquerors.
Initiate standards require the user to use troop types and numbers according to the standards channel - however lots of moderators base it off of tactics, numbers, and basic paragraph usage.
Initiate Conquerors are typically considered to be lower tier roleplayers with few exceptions, this is also the minimum required rank to join the Staff Team.
Adept Conqueror[]
Adept Conquerors are mid-tier players, recognized for their strong roleplaying ability which incorporates a number of important details, as of March 22nd 2025 there are 1,534 Adept Conquerors. Many members of the World Conquest community are Adept Conqueror's due to the extreme difficulty of acquiring Elite Conqueror.
Adept standards require the user to use specific equipment, tactics, numbers, troop experience, and geography, if it is applicable. Adept roleplay can be as follows - “Mobilising 32,000 elite personnel at the border, equipping them with Mosin-Nagant M1891 Rifles, we would exploit the flatlands to have better mobility, which would allow us to launch a frontal assault at the enemy lines.” This is the bare minimum of adept,
Adept Conquerors are stereotyped as a typically arrogant and stubborn community, coming as a result of the combining of Trained Conqueror and Imperialist Conqueror after the 2021 Rank Reformation.
Elite Conqueror[]
Elite Conquerors are high-tier players who are expected to uphold above adept standards and also have to meet discord standards in World Conquest. There are 94 Elite Conquerors as of March 22nd 2025 being made up of various ex-staff members and prominent roleplayers. Elite conquerors have increased in size following a mass promotion of 80 or so people to elite, in an effort to revive the rank, as well as a reformation of the rank to become substantially easier due to one notable change - no buzzwords.
Elite in-game standards include the same as adept, however elites must be able to outclass the typical adept. The elite standards on the “Rank Reform” document in the discord channel of #standards shows an example, which is as follows:
“The 2nd Army consisting of 150,000 newly conscripted German infantry-men armed with refurbished Mauser rifles make a coordinated assault on Russian positions, overcoming the hilly terrain by conducting mass bombardments on the enemy… Employing 77m artillery shells to decimate the enemy frontlines… As a result our economy would ramp up production of…”.
Discord standards include good behavioral conduct, 1,500 messages, 1 month in the discord server, 10 achievements in total and the ability to educate new players.
Legendary Conqueror[]
Legendary Conqueror is a very prestigious and high tier role roleplay role. It was made up of the Top 3 World Conquest Roleplayers. It was removed by Jobo and grouped with Honoured and Elites originally, but has since been reinstated above Elite Conqueror back on December 26th, 2023 with the intended purpose of adding a more competitive environment among the current Elites within the group. However, the role eventually died off due to a lack of motivation from Elites to challenge holding Legendaries, as most of the Legendaries were either being demoted. There can only be six holders of the Legendary at one time.
If a Legendary Conqueror is accepted to become a staff member (both Discord & Game), they lose their rank and a new Legendary is selected by lottery or a PVP event. Examples of this occurrence are SupportChechnya's and ohmygodzronnie's ascendances to the staff team, in which SupportChechnya gained the role of Trial Moderator after being a legendary, and ohmygodzronnie gained the role of legendary as a successor to SupportChechnya.
Rank Purge[]
A rank purge is a series of demotions or modifications of standards intends to make said rank more active and put greater effort into their roleplay. Such purges cause controversy, particularly by those affected. The most recent of these cases was the 2025 Elite Purge, where 35 Elite's were demoted due their roleplay lacking in standards.
Staff Ranks[]
World Conquest Staff Hierarchy *not including Developers*
The World Conquest Staff is divided into 6 Ranks with their own special Hierarchy or Chain of Command. As of December 10th 2024, there are 12 Trial Moderators, 7 Moderators, 3 Administrator Cadets, 3 Administrators, 1 Head Administrator, and 1 Owner. This totals up to 27 members of the staff team - 26 if we exclude Marqret.
To be eligible for your staff application to be accepted, you need:
• Initiate Conqueror or above • Active in the World Conquest Game • Active in the World Conquest Discord by having atleast 500 messages • In possession of a device that can run World Conquest • Stable and consistent access to the internet • Member of the Discord for a month • Not a staff member in any other stud roleplay community • Willingness to become a World Conquest Staff • No AI-generated content within your answers
Trial Moderator[]
Trial Moderator is the initial rank you acquire when passing processing, a process which determines whether candidates for the staff team are eligible and capable of becoming proper staff members. As of March 22nd 2025 there are 14 Trial Moderators. Some examples of Trial Moderators include vitroo, LeonardRegelkrone and many others.
Trial Moderators come following the passing of processing - a process you have to complete and pass to get the role of Trial Moderator. Lots of Trial Moderators do resign, however lots also stay until they get promoted to Moderator.
Discord Trial Moderator also exists as a rank - it is the exact same as the Trial Moderator however they are not subjected to moderate the game but are subjected to moderate the Discord,
Moderator[]
After passing the trial period, a staff member would gain the rank of Moderator. Moderators are able to do ban appeals - something a Trial Moderator cannot do. As of March 22nd 2025 there are 16 Moderators, who include alxmino2016, 4sty and megacolas.
Discord Moderator is the exact same as the Moderator rank however they moderate the Discord. They also have to pass a Trial phase.
Administrator Cadet[]
On the Roblox Group, Administrator Cadets are still categorised under Moderator - however they have a visibly different color on the Discord, with a sort of cyan-light blue shade. Administrator Cadet is a role gained from being chosen by Administration. Before becoming a fully-fledged Administrator, you must undergo a trial phase with the rank “Administrator Cadet” - very similar to Trial Moderator and Moderator. Administrator Cadets discuss things with administration, accept accountabilities, and can influence decisions to do with World Conquest. As of March 22nd 2025 , there are a total of three Administrator Cadets- Daniel_Lorusk, TeapotMenace, ArmyBulgar
Discord Administrator is a rank given to NicolasWellesley and JustSharked - With Nicolas’ rank given subsequent to his sacking and JustSharked’s following his resignation into helping the Discord rank flourish. Discord Administrator is commonly associated with the same powers as an Administrator Cadet - as JustSharked was an Administrator Cadet before resigning into this role.
Administrator[]
After going through a stage of Administrator Cadet, this role is granted to them. Administrators lead the staff team, accept accountabilities, advise or make new rules in the game or on the Discord Server, or even create channels. This is the second highest rank, below Head Administrator, of the staff team. On the 15th of June, Ando, an Administrator Cadet, was promoted to Administrator. Now, 1t_qv, also known as rev, is also an administrator, alongside 5_yawn.
Head Administrator[]
The Head Administrator is essentially exactly as it sounds, they are the head of administration, staff, and practically all of World Conquest, however they are second to Marqret, the owner. They have a few more Discord Functions than Administrator, however the Head Administrator can do lots more - including sacking of Administrators. Rasvyet currently fills this spot, with the previous Head Administrator being GreenFawkes who held the position from the 2023 Conquest Coronations to the April 22nd, 2024.
Owner[]
Phibunsongkhram was the Founder and Creator of World Conquest and was the original owner of the group. Phibun founded World Conquest back in 2017. He aided on developing the game as well as administrating staff and game rules. But eventually, Phibun became less and less active due to a growing demotivation to continue running the group leading to his inevitable resignation.
However, on December 16th, 2023 Phibun would hand over his position as the Founder of World Conquest and Owner of the Group to, at the time Administrator Marqret, who is now the holder and owner of all World Conquest Games and Groups including the more recent addition, Galactic Conquest. Phibun sold the group to Marqret for a price of $600 USD.
Honoured Conqueror[]
Honoured Conqueror is a rank given to members of administration or development who have spent 1 or more years in World Conquest in said roles. These roles are, Administrator Cadet (Although not common due to promotion to Administrator), Administrator, Head Administrator & Owner. As of 4/2/25 there are 16 Honoured Conquerors.
There is no roleplay standard required for Honoured Conqueror, however a standard of roleplay is encouraged. Honoured Conqueror's are expected to have a level of maturity and be good role models even after their tenure has come to an end. Your rank may be revoked if you show immaturity and disrespect members of World Conquest.
Staff Inactivity Notice[]
Given to both Discord and Game staff a staff inactivity notice is given to those who haven't met the set quota. While an inactivity notice won't result in sack, it can be factor into getting one due to laziness. Inactivity notices are usually found around trial moderators but can also apply to those who have passed the period. After promotion to Administrator Cadet, it is near impossible to get an inactivity notice as administration aren't required to moderate in game.
Development Ranks[]
World Conquest Development Emblem. This Emblem will appear next to the rank icon above a user's name in game.
In the World Conquest Development Team, numerous members comprise it with numerous different roles. These include contributors, development contributors, era hosts (a practically defunct role), development assistants, and developers. You also have source editors - who don’t particularly work on development but rather editing sources - usually given to Development Contributors.
Contributor[]
Contributors are members who are selectly chosen due to their historical knowledge in certain regions. This is the first rank of the development hierarchy - in which they work on eras and eventually can make their way up the hierarchy. There is no requirements other than having expert knowledge in historical territorial aspects.
Development Contributors[]
Development Contributors assist eras in their making and contribute significantly. This is practically the exact same as the Contributor role except that you have been active and have shown quality within your work. Development Contributors are eligible to become Era Hosts.
Era Hosts[]
Era Hosts engage in the construction of eras by hosting sessions in which Development Contributors and Contributors would join to map out the era. They are eligible for Development Assistant.
Development Assistants[]
Development Assistants are the overheads of era development and foresee development decisions. These are Golu_29 and 5_yawn - who also conduct and determine who becomes what rank and they may host community sessions, which is seen predominantly with the 1915 community session. Furthermore, Development Assistants can adjust ranks and are basically the heads of the development server.
Developers[]
Example of a Developer (BetterNotDie)
Developers of World Conquest are considered part of both the Development Team and the Staff Team as they hold powers on par with Administrators but are not equal to the Head Administrator, currently Rasvyet, and assist Administration while still specializing mainly within overseeing and heading development for the World Conquest game. There are 3 developers/scripters currently working on the game as of December 10th, 2024. AdmiralFanatic (more commonly referred to by his old username's nickname "AHF") is the game's primary scripter and works on the games scripts. BetterNotDie (commonly referred to as BnD) works on the games’ bots and also the bots within the Discord for channels such as reports or appeals, and YALMSL who is a scripter that has worked on numerous updates - the most notable one being the tutorial.
Wiki Staff[]
The Wiki Staff are a team of members that have applied to make committed edits to the World Conquest Wiki. They hold a rank within the World Conquest Development Discord that signifies their role as Wiki Staff, either Junior Wiki Editor or just Wiki Editor. The Chief Wiki Editor is a position held by Bobelfish, he oversees all edits made by the Wiki Editing/Staff Team by giving assignments to Wiki Staff to expand or create wiki articles within the WC Wiki.
Discord Exclusive Ranks[]
While there are many ingame ranks there are also many Discord ranks exclusive to the World Conquest Discord server. These ranks are involved in the management and caring of our community. Below are listed the various ranks that can be given to members of prominence and high ability to manage/operate the said roles.
Community Associates & Junior Community Associates[]
Community Associates are prominent members within the World Conquest Discord that hold some prestige among the discord community. The CAs along with their respective JCAs are tasked with managing the Community Channels such as Achievements Of The Week, Stupid Screenshots Saturday, Events, Polls, Art Contests Debates, and a new channel named “Wacky Daily Questions”. Community Associates are given the ability to choose their own Junior Community Associates, JCAs are able to be promoted to CA given the current holding Community Associate's resignation or firing. Known CA's include gavvymac2020 (CA of AOTW), 1t_qv (CA of SSS), Zolwicxek (CA of Events + Polls), 5yawn (CA of Arts & Art Contest), MrGreen (CA of Debates), and Shasbsb2 (CA of WDQ).
Historian & Junior Historian[]
The Historian & Junior Historian roles are roles given to the users Bobel, ApeX & Tubby. The roles of both Historian & Junior Historian is to create and send articles based around an event of history that happened on the exact day the article is posted to the "This Day In History Channel" created by AHF a month after Marqret bought World Conquest. The channel contains daily posts and the occasional themed week. The channel also exhibits polls on the occasion and can cover a variety of topics. The channel does not have a community associate however the figurehead is predominantly thought out to be as Bobel. The current Junior Historians include Sacro, Rasmus, Myinng, Sevverity, and Enxiverence.
Community Poller[]
Community Pollers are assigned to create polls every now and then to encourage community engagement and interaction within the discord community. Polls can cover any topic with the approval of the Channel Manager, Xuellito, and has a set base of rules as do all of the Channels. Known pollers include Sofarentino and Voltray. Activity in the channel is moderate level and the channel can offer various polls of different engagement levels and types. Some polls are made in the channel by administration who wish to see what the community desires and their opimions.
Events Host[]
Supporter and Server Booster roles.
Event Hosts are people who operate events within the events channel. They typically include megacampaigns or maps based on the usage of the studder tool - a tool made to create maps like a certain country - in which they can engage in wars, etc. Furthermore, the respective CA for this channel is Zolwicxek and the JCA being Tekk. In the past, a JCA did not exist for the channel. Legendary duels are also stated in this channel, alongside academy schedules and tournaments. Staff may also post startups in the channel - however Event Hosts are also permitted to do so.
Staff Alumni[]
Staff Alumni is a role given to people who were a former staff member. The Staff Alumni gives them a moon-like icon next to their username however it does not provide any ingame benefits. Its only Discord benefit includes reaction permissions.
Server Booster[]
Server Booster is a role that essentially is like a Discord Donator - boosting the server. It is a pink role with a diamond shape commonly associated with Nitro. It provides reaction permissions for the user.
Supporter[]
The supporter role is a role given to those people who pay a monthly $4.99 subscription. They gain access to a channel unknown to the rest of the community and can also be given access to the Sneak Peaks channel.
Admin VIP[]
The Admin VIP role was created by Marqret to distinguish those who had purchased the Admin VIP supporter tier from traditional Supporters. The role can be purchased for $7.99 monthly for exclusive bonus perks in the World Conquest server as well as in-game access to admin commands. It can be bought via the Server Shop.
Channel Blacklists[]
Numerous channels, notably Art Contests, Achievements of the Week, Stupid Screenshot Saturday, Accountability, and Debates are for people who either: • numerous rulebreaks within the channel to do with 1.5 or 1.0 • trolling in the channel • sabotaging the channel.
Honoured Ranks[]
When an Honoured Conqueror finishes their tenure, they will be rewarded with the role. In some cases, they may receive special roles in the Discord that distinguishes themselves from others. While not every Honoured Conqueror will be given an exclusive rank, if you are notable in Administration or Development, you may get one.
Removed Ranks[]
Trained Conqueror[]
Trained Conqueror was once a rank but was removed by Jobo and replaced with Adept Conquerors to make moderation easier. This rank was above Initate but below Imperialist. It was considered a middle tier rank.
Imperialist Conqueror[]
Imperialist Conqueror has the same fate as the trained conqueror role. It was removed by Jobo as was replaced with Adept Conquerors, which is a mix of Trained Conquerors and Imperialists. It was considered a Mid-High tier rank.
Noble Conqueror[]
Noble Conqueror which used to be a high to mid tier rank from before it was removed, it sat between Imperialist and Elite and served as a middle ground for people just below elite and above imperialist.
Heroic Conqueror[]
Heroic was a high tier rank which you could achieve after being promoted from Elite, it was considered the second highest achieveable rank without joining staff and just below Legendary conqueror.
Vice Chairman[]
The removed role of Vice Chairman was previously filled by AgentJobo, who had served the community since its founding in 2017. The role of Vice-Chairman was basically unopposed and had basically total control over the staff team, dictating the actions of Administrators, Moderators, and so forth.
AgentJobo was removed from his position on August 26th, 2021 after a long scandal with Phibunsongkhram which lasted for weeks and had been brewing for over a year. The removal of AgentJobo from his position as Vice Chairman left the role up for debate, however, Phibun stated he was unsure what he will do with the role. It is unlikely a new Vice Chairman will be appointed any time soon or in the foreseeable future as the rank is no longer in circulation with the groups.
Meme Roles (Discord)[]
Acting Vice Chairman[]
Acting Vice Chairman is a role given to AgentJobo after he rejoined World Conquest, it is unknown as to if this role has any permissions in the discord however it has no power in game (though AgentJobo is honoured conqueror, which gives him moderator permissions) and is considered a meme role.
Yobo[]
In 2023, the possibility of a return to the Vice Chairmen rank was popularised in the wake of Marqets purchase of World Conquest. To show that He would not do this, Marqet would create the joke role of: ‘Yobo’ in the discord server, and appointed 7 people to that position. It had no real power and was a joke role. It ended when Agent Yobel, the last Yobo, was “sacked” after a “presidential race”. This role no longer exists.
Chad Council[]
Chad Council was a sort of meme role that is given to players that are "cool". No extra server benefits are gained upon receiving the role but it makes you stand out from other members. It has since been removed by Marqret.
Head Suspended[]
Head suspended or head retard was meme role given to users (primarily Risk Community Manage, Komoudou) who were "dumb". The roles would late change to "Komoudou" before being removed a day later.
