Introduction[]
Risk Universalis is a stud RP game on Roblox, similar to World Conquest. Founded on 22/04/2015, it is an alternative game to WC that can be played due to the similar genre and nature of the two games.
Risk - World Conquest relations[]
Risk and World Conquest have collaborated on joint events, most notably the Risk-WC wars, where players from both games engaged in fierce competition to determine the superior player base. In the 2nd World Conquest - Risk war, World Conquest suffered defeat at the hands of Risk Universalis. During this intense rivalry, the World Conquest #general channel experienced massive protests, adopting the name "#death-to-risk" general chat. In this heated atmosphere, players, including GreenFawkes, enthusiastically rallied the WC community to spam propaganda posters and wave the WC flag high against Risk. However, relations would break down between the two groups falling the Third WC-Risk War.
Development controversies[]
On 23/11/2024, relations would sour even more with Noorullah, a former developer, would become a Risk Contributor shortly after resigning as a World Conquest developer. He had said it would be because of Amnity and Xenvox persuading him to join, claiming it is gonna be his "new home."
Not too long after, on 20/04/2025, Yalmsl, another developer in World Conquest, would unexpectedly leave, becoming a Risk Contributor. This would be shocking as there was no notice at all; he just left the server. As a result, tensions have been at an all time high, with many calling him a traitor to the game.
Cross Bannings[]

Marqret on the cross-ban situation.
Over the years, players from both World Conquest and Risk Universalis have raided on each others games, griefing the map on numerous occasions. Due to the dire situation that resulted on this, and no will left to exacerbate the situation by doing nothing, the two Administrations agreed to ban raiders who raid one of the two games. This would change after the disastrous effect of the 3rd WC-Risk War, which saw many from both sides post NSFW content, which led to the cancellation of the event. World Conquest banned those who did them, but Risk did nothing, and as a result tensions arose between the two.
Both administrations have mutually defended each other, with World Conquest Moderators diligently banning individuals involved in raids against Risk, and Risk following suite by banning those responsible for incidents on World Conquest. However, Marqret has addressed the situation, threatened that he would unbanning all WCers who participated in past raids on Risk and received punishments for their actions. This change has yet to be implemented.
The October Disasters[]

Riskord during the Nuking
What appeared to be an ordinary day took a dramatic turn when the Risk community faced a massive raid, orchestrated by one of their Directors. On October 14, 2022, NuunuuM banned all members of the staff team and triggered a full-scale assault on the Riskord. In a bold move, he uncopylocked the Risk games, resulting in chaos. This action set off a massive migration crisis, known as the Risk Exodus. Unfortunately, October proved to be an exceptionally rough month for both games, with numerous incidents unfolding on both sides.
Criticism[]
WC'ers have raised concerns about certain aspects of the game, mainly its reliance on dice and the impact it has on roleplay.
One of the primary criticisms revolves around the game’s use of dice. WCers argue that the heavy reliance on chance through dice rolls detracts from genuine roleplay experiences. Instead of immersing themselves in intricate narratives and diplomatic interactions, players find themselves at the mercy of random outcomes. This frustration has led some WCers to claim that Riskians lack true roleplaying skills.
However, it’s essential to note that Risk Universalis used to offer an alternative: a no-dice game mode. In this mode, players were able to engage in roleplay without the unpredictable influence of dice rolls. Unfortunately, this option has been removed, as evidenced by the absence of the no-dice servers. For those seeking further discussions and critiques of Risk Universalis, the World Conquest Discord provides a platform. A simple search for “Risk” in the message search bar yields a wealth of opinions and feedback from players.
Comparisons[]
World Conquest and Risk Universalis are distinct in several ways, each offering unique features that the other does not have. Such as:
Gameplay
- The most notable difference between World Conquest and Risk, is that Risk is more orientated to use dice as a deciding factor within roleplay, and World Conquest is a more traditional roleplay game with specific standards that their ranks need to follow.
- Speaking of ranks, Risk does not have ranks that can be obtained based on roleplay compared to WC.
