The September 4th Incident's backstory falls in line with the events of August 26th (view August 26th Incident) and August 30th (view August 30th Incident). The September 4th Incident is also referred to as the "Great Walloon Purge", a minor purge of history memers within the community that saw the sacking of Prestest ( Fixed ) and his ban from World Conquest.

Prelude

After the events of August 30th, and Civollow's demotion, Prestest felt like he was the only person who held his idea's of purging the community of "retards", with the resignation of Bereghosttheboy and the sacking of AgentJobo, many "retards" were left to roam World Conquest, with people such as Skeppy#8129 going effectively unpunished and able to spread their village idiocy without halt.

Civollow was the only person Prestest believed agreed with him and could really do something, as Civollow was an Admin Cadet at the time and was on his way to Administrator, however, Civollow had given up long ago and wanted to get out of World Conquest, driving him to perform a massive raid which transpired in the August 30th Incident (read above).

Without Civollow on the team, Prestest was in a sense, alone, as there was nobody else on the team with any significant position who was willing to do something about World Conquest's "retards", these being history memers, genocide deniers, neo-nazi's, and various other community members who were contrarian to its development. Prestest decided that he had to send a message. He didn't intend for maximum damage or even significant damage, but he wanted to send a message.

September 4th, 2021

He began on September 4th, 2021 at 8:24 PM EST, in which he initially banned russ, a prominent community member who was a russian nationalist and a history memer. He followed this up by banning Luka, banning this person for genocide denial, and following up with the ban of Nightstrike, which was on accident as he was attempting to put in the name of someone else. The purge was stopped at 8:26 PM when Prestest was banned, lasting 2 minutes.

The Purge caused no significant damage and all members returned, however, an attempt to re-ban Luka was made by ein#0002, which was promptly halted when Noorullah mentioned that genocide denial had been removed as a rule and thus was not punishable.

Aftermath

Prestest had successfully sent his message, and this was undebatable. In the days following his purge, he had many sympathizers within the World Conquest community and within the World Conquest staff team, with users such as ein#0002 keeping in contact with him. His purge inspired the creation of rule "1.7.1 - Luring", an extension to rule "1.7 - Inappropriate Conversations" of the Handbook. This rule was put in place to defend younger users (such as Kaspa) from being exposed to pornographic content, punishable by a 1 week ban.

Prestest's purge made no dent in the community, with the damage patched within minutes, however, the aftermath still lives on in the form of the September 4th Movement (September 4th Reformation Movement).
