What is the September 4th Reformation Movement?[]
The September 4th Reformation Movement refers to a movement created by the World Conquest discord community, made up of people who sided with Prestest and agree with his ideas following the publishment of the Prestest Dossier and his motives during the September 4th Incident which has come to be known as the Prestest Purge.
Details[]
The main idea of reformation is to crack down on village idiots and history memers inside of the World Conquest community. This is shared by everyone who is aligned to the reformation movement, which stretches from regular discord members to major members of the World Conquest Staff team.
A Divided Staff Team[]
Division[]
The staff team, in contrast to The Civollow Raid (August 30th Incident) does not have a single popular opinion- in which that case, was against Civ. The Staff team is divided between people who agree with Prestest, and people who disagree with him and believe the Purge was simply a shitty, small, ineffective raid.
People such as Dojosen100, Prosephman, CikaDanilo, and Ein have seemed to side with Prestest. However, people such as Administrator Cadet Marqret, Bitolya, and Hexide have sided against him. From observation- it seems that Prestest has mistakenly and accidentally caused a split in the community due to his reform ideas.
Community Opinion[]
The Majority[]
The majority of people in the World Conquest Community in the aftermath of the Prestest Purge have began to support Prestest and spread the common message which is usually almost something along the lines of:
" Prestest was right "
" Bring Prestest back "
" He purged the retards "
" He was a good staff member "
These views are shared by many people in the community, who make up a majority of the people in the aftermath of the incident. People in the community such as Allahnaldo, Rinako ( Oyu_Tomo ), multiple staff members listed before, Speedy, Bobelfish, and more share the majority of these core beliefs.
The Minority[]
There is still a firm minority of people who are against Prestest, which is mostly made up of people who for a lack of better words: are misinformed about what happened, or believe that Prestest had better ways of carrying out his reforms other than mass banning. Prestest has apparently responded to this, and outlined this defense inside of his dossier- where he claims he had no choice after failing to become an Adminstraitor Cadet and more and more ' idiots ' moving into the staff team under what he jokingly likes to call the " Hanz Virus ", named after Sergeant_Hanz who was despite trying to keep an unbiased approach here; was basically the definition of a village idiot.
The Future[]
The Future of the September 4th Reformation Movement seems bright, as Arun has even added one of Prestest's rule- the luring NSFW rule into the official World Conquest rulebook. It is unknown whether administration will begin to add more of Prestest's revisionist ideas into the rulebook. Phibun has not made a public statement to the date this is being written. Pretest has been unbanned by Marqret himself as well as all of as all of his alts and he is not blacklisted from the staff team. This decision was highly praised by the people of World Conquest. It seems like Pretest, and his supporters, has won the war.
