Vice Chairman was a position that was the second-in-command in World Conquest Administration and was appointed by the Chairman. It was only held by one user, AgentJobo, for 4 years until his sack by Arunsongkhram.

Powers

The Vice Chairman assisted the Chairman on important decisions, and up until limitations set by Arun, headed the World Conquest Staff Team. The Vice Chairman had the ability to purge staff members, sometimes large groups at once.

History

AgentJobo

AgentJobo assisted in the foundation of World Conquest and became Vice Chairman shortly after the creation of the game and organization of the ranks. From there, he played a significant role in the development of the game, before feuding with the Chairman, Arunsongkhram, then known as Phibunsongkhram.

AgentJobo was described as "officious" (consistiently asserting power in an arrogant way) by Arunsongkhram. His behavior was critiqued by others and was the root cause of the Nova-Oerip Raid.

Jobo also led the 2021 Rank Reformation, which removed Honoured Conqueror, Legendary Conqueror, Trained Conqueror, and Imperialist Conqueror. These ranks were replaced with Elite Conqueror and Adept Conqueror, and this rank system is still used today besides the readdition of Legendary.

In the final weeks of AgentJobo's tenure as Vice Chairman, his power would gradually be reduced by Arun as he continually argued and abused his permissions. There would be multiple counts of Jobo bypassing, and this would eventually culminate into Arun sacking Jobo on August 26, 2021.

Removal

After the end of Jobo's reign, there would never be a successor to Vice Chairman. After Marqret's acquisition of World Conquest, there were rumors that a new Vice Chairman would be selected. However, this never happened, and as of December 2024 the role remains vacant.
