The Week of Trollage
The Week of Trollage was a period of time in which, following the removal of AgentJobo from his position as Vice Chairman, several staff members went "rogue" in attempt to further their own goals.
Prelude: August 26th Incident
On August 26th, Jobo was terminated from his position as VC and was banned (see Arun dossier: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MrX2TPBf5WapR2tpm12eYzZs_uOUGq9IJQW-1ThsRIA/edit?usp=sharing). Following his termination, he utilized the admin powers he still had and proceeded to go onto public servers giving other users, such as Sgtxlord, and many guests, tools such as "Timmy Gun's" and Swords, claiming to "defend against the injustice". Across the Week of Trollage, themes of jobo fear mongering lingered, and many people spread the Jobo Dossier (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1sNuESbkyNZ9pCmNvv92ehyVXgsbZ4mbzoc168NnU6Bo/edit). It was also initially believed to be the initial reason for the Civollow raid (view below)
Civollow Raid: August 30th Incident
On August 30th, former Admin Cadet Civollow raided the World Conquest Discord Server. The damage and details can be found on the August 30th incident page (August 30th Incident) however it was because, as said later in the Civollow dossier (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kyFvgFS9cv0DiW65s1U-LsUo8jxSklVcUL6k4n7ASd4/edit) the community was "ass". It was not due to Jobo, however fear mongering over it continued.
During the raid, Civ banned and pruned 1250+ People in total. The community at the time was somewhat divided between people who thought it was funny, and people who thought it was stupid. Unlike the Prestest Purge below, the staff team firmly held the opinion that Civ was in the wrong.
Prestest Purge: September 4th Incident / Great Walloon Purge
The Prestest Purge was an incident which took place on September 4th, 2021, in which Discord Moderator Prestest banned Luka and RusskayaImperiya for being history memers and for them being "retards". He also banned a user named NightStrike, however NightStrike was not important and mistakenly banned. Prestest claims his motives were to cleanse the community, believing in Civollow's cause and goals to a significant extent, and that he and civollow had tried it peacefully before. The purge was largely ineffective in short term damage, with the users being unbanned shortly after, however, the long-term impact of this seems to be up in the air, with Prestest having large sections of the staff team on his side and agreeing with his motive. His movement has also brought about change, particularly his "No Luring" rule, which he initially established in late August / early September to protect young users (primarily Kaspa), from being directed or lured into pornographic material. This would later, on September 5th, 2021, become the "Luring" rule, (1.7.1), falling under 1.7 Inappropriate Conversations.
Prestest and Marqret debate each-other actively regarding the raid in short talks in which a translator, (primarily ein#0002 as of now), directs both sides messages to each-other for them to easily communicate with each-other.
Vonkelsing Attack: Vonkelsing Attack
The Vonkelsing Attack occurred on September 6th, 2021, when recently promoted Trial Moderator VanessaKellsin11 (also known as "VonKelsing") raided the World Conquest Discord, beginning at 3:11 PM EST when he initially began kicking members, pruning 1,200 members and kicking several prominent users such as Kaspa. Staff members became aware of his raid within the same minute, when Discord Moderator "ein#0002" recognized that Tyrone and Kaspa had been removed, and proclaimed that a raid was occuring. Vonkelsing's raid was halted within 2 minutes of it beginning, being the shortest raid ever conducted against World Conquest. The largest amount of damage he caused was his kicking of Junachonyon. It was supposed to be a raid in the name of Jobo, however Jobo himself claims no responsibility for the incident, asking the question of "Why would I allow him to mention it", in reference to his mention of "Jobo"
Audit Logs during the Vonkelsing Attack
Vonkelsing was a recently promoted Trial Moderator who had passed Indoctrination on September 4th, 2021, and had been promoted to the staff team on August 28th, 2021. Vonkelsing had just barely met the minimum requirements, with only 3,000 messages within the discord at the time of his raid, leading certain staff members to call for the increase of minimum message requirements regarding game moderation.
Vonkelsing's raid did not cause any significant damage, due to the fact that he only had permissions to kick users and not to ban users due to his position as a Trial Moderator. It was initially assumed that it was an alternative account of Civollow, however further investigation within the following hour showed otherwise. However, it did leave the World Conquest Discord at approximately 6,800 members, meaning that almost 3,000 users had been purged in the span of a week.
