Introduction[]
The World Conquest Tutorial is an in-game guide for new players in order to help them understand the game, and to avoid misunderstandings. Before the tutorial was added, many new players would be banned from the game, due to accidental rule-breaking or simply not understanding how the game worked.
History[]
Suggestions[]
Before it's addition, a tutorial was widely suggested and desired by the World Conquest Community. Since the addition of the new loading screen, a tutorial button existed. However, when you clicked this button, it would be inaccessible behind a "coming soon" page. Users arguments included that not "leaving players out to die by either freely painting land, or oversimplifying their roleplay" would greatly improve the quality of the game.[1]
Creation[]
YALMSL, a Scripter and Trial Moderator, would develop the tutorial alongside AdmiralFanatic. The tutorial would then be released on November 21, 2024. YALMSL developed the tutorial since he was tired of complaints about new players.[2] The tutorial was developed as early as October 14.[3]

Setting[]
The tutorial takes place in an old version of World Conquest, most-likely in a scaled back version of World Conquest Lite. The tutorial guides the player through roleplay standards, country information, and basic rules.
Reception[]
On the first day of the tutorial, all users who joined the game were immediately prompted to play the tutorial. The "No" button, which criticized the player if they wanted to pick it, was not functional. This caused complaints in the World Conquest Development server. The button was made functional 23 hours later.[4]
A poll conducted in the span of 2 days after release concluded that 63% of people liked the tutorial. [5]
Trivia[]

The Instructor dying.
- After a certain amount of time, the Instructor NPC dies.[6]
- The Instructor is also paintable.[7]
- AdmiralFanatic scripted the death of the Instructor for humorous purposes.[8]
