Yurischrist, otherwise known as Dex/Dexter/Yuri is a Trial Discord Moderator, a Junior Wiki Editor and a former Junior Community Associate for AOTW & Events Host. He is of Turkish, Circassian, Ukrainian and Croatian descent.
Beginnings & First Ban[]
Dex discovered World Conquest on 2018 through the recommendation category. He usually played Lite as a guest, very rarely interacting with the game. He was first banned for freepainting on April 24 2022.
Initiate[]
Following his unban in On July 14 2022, Dex was promoted to Initiate Conqueror by Biztal, when he had started to actively engage with the community.
Second Ban[]
He was banned again on October 7 2022 for major FRP, having created a global unification state in a post-apoc public server, where a user reported him after he roleplayed destroying the world to force a reset.
Adept[]
On September 20 2022, Dex was promoted to Adept Conqueror by Phoenix, but later on, he was demoted from Adept and promoted once again by Zolwicxek on July 26 2023, there were no logs found regarding his demotion.
Elite[]
On June 20 2024, Dex was promoted to Elite Conqueror by NicolasWellesley on June 20 2024, having participated in the first Elite Evalutation tournament and moving his way up to the semi-finals. He was promoted to Elite a second time Sevverity on January 1 2025. For the third time, he was promoted to Elite once again by RatedSorbus on February 8 2025.
Discord Bans[]
On August 7 2022, Dex was banned for denying the Armenian genocide and bypassing a slur. He stayed banned for a long time, where until April 24 2023, he appealed and apologized for actions.
On May 29 2023, he was banned again for extreme toxicity during a heated argument, where he quit World Conquest for a year. He returned on April 30 2024, hoping to salvage for his mistakes and build a reputation.
On July 2 2024, he was banned for leaking a GIF of ExecutiveHayden3's face from 2022, where he stayed banned for about 6 months. He was pardoned and unbanned on December 26 2024, where he met many unexpected new friends and people he knew prior to his ban.
Controversies[]
Ingame ban log
The primary controversy Dexxyun was involved in was the banishment of UnitedStatesGermany, being the primary figure that lit up the controversy and made it public. USG had accused Dex of 'sexually assaulting' her and had sent fabricated evidence to 5yawn, who banned Dex shortly after. After speaking in DM's and providing counterarguments, he was unbanned on the same day. Around that time, Dex and Jayana discovered that USG was impersonating a girl with pictures of when she was 17 along with exchanging said pictures with a minor. Following this, USG released documents attempting to clear her name and to accuse the two, which Dex and Jayana worked together to compile a series of counter-documents that would heavily incriminate and entrench hate against her in the community, though USG only took these as jokes and disregarded it.
Discord ban log
UnitedStatesGermany was banned on the 29th of June by Rasvyet following a discussion with Dex and Jayana for catfishing, TOS and impersonation. In addition, she was banned from the game by Marqret and her Discord ban was extended to permanent due to lying about Administration's actions about the case.
A few days following this situation, Dex was banned for posting a GIF of Hayden's face from 2022 in general chat, where he stayed banned for 6 months before his pardon and return to the community. Many people sided with USG during the first days of the situation, primarily her friends, though it became conflicted as Dex and Jayana's documents were released with evidence of her wrongdoings. There is a theory claiming that UnitedStatesGermany was a guy from Egypt called Zaa Faar, evident with Dex's timezone comparisons, old messages and the name of the accounts used in USG's documents, which became an inside joke over time.
Dex also became well known for his witty arguments and extensive analysis of accountabilities, other controversies or banned users, which added to his skills to become a staff member. He's garnered many connections within the staff team, earning himself several community roles and a place in staff following Biztal's banishment, as he claims that he had been blocked from getting staff due to Biztal disliking him, having purposefully manipulated his processing stages.
Trivia[]
- He says that his friends in the community attributed to his conversion to Christianity, as he was raised Muslim in Turkey. He is Eastern Orthodox.
- He has anemia, and is commonly referred to as the "pale guy" by his friends.
- His favorite drinks are Corona, iced tea, shalgam and coffee.
- He is majority Slavic, and uses the name Yuri despite his Turkish government name.
